. campaign schedules are getting back on track today as romney heads to virginia and president obama has a very busy day ahead of him. first, he starts off the day in green bay, wisconsin for a rescheduled event that he had to cancel tuesday to deal with hurricane sandy. then he is off to nevada, colorado and ohio. yesterday, obama toured the aftermath of hurricane sandy in new jersey along with governor chris christie who had nothing but kind words for the president. >> has worked incredibly closely with me. i cannot thank the president enough for his personal concern and compassion for our state and for the people of our state. >> the governor has said he has no intention of bringing romney to new jersey to survey the storm's damage. christie aides are denying any sort of rift with the romney campaign saying it is just about dealing with the storm and not about presidential politics. but one of the main political speculations here is that christie thinks romney has no chance of winning and he is setting himself up for

far if you put indiana and kentucky together, that's 19 electoral votes for mitt romney to start out with. we knew he was going to get those votes, we expected two states that are too early to call both georgia and south carolina, are both going to go for romney eventually anyway, we don't know that, we don't have any raw vote, but in preelection polling it was clear those were part of romney's base. georgia was a state that president obama was hoping to target. didn't look like that was going to come true. vermont, three electoral votes for the president, now on the board too, but that was expected. the one we're watching, guys, is the state of virginia. 13 electoral votes. both candidates have been targeting the state. 40% of the vote comes from the counties of northern virginia near washington, d.c. the other parts of the state are more conservative, more rural, more southern, and that's where it gives mitt romney hope of offsetting the margins that president obama could run up in northern virginia. we're just beginning to know what's happening tonight, but virginia is really the

in philadelphia. mitt romney went back today. in pennsylvania is in play, this is a very long night for barack obama, but is it? right now, it is too close to e a hampshire, 1% of the precincts reporting in stated in answer. one thing about new hampshire is it is a very small state. you cannot get a lot by winning the hampshire, unless, of course, you want to win the presidency. you think four electoral votes cannot decide this race? you are wrong. hampshire is a tossup state. it is a bellwether state, and it is to close to call. the state of ohio, as mentioned, to close to call. they closed 30 minutes ago. lopsided victory at the moment for barack obama, but with just 7% of precincts reporting, think nothing of that. the state of virginia still in play. we wbe watching that throughout the night. 12 percent of precincts reporting, and right now, mitt romney has a healthy lead in a state of virginia, but again, virginia is a number of different demographics within one, so whatever precincts reporting, we do not even know yet. to decide where va would go is way too early. north carolina is impor
